Step 1. Power on the Virtual Machine, while it’s up to login screen enter your password and press enter.
Step 2. Once you signed in to Windows 10 window, click on the top menu bar on “VM” click on “Install VMware Tools” down below. And wait until it should download the VMware tools.
Step 3. Once the VMware tools downloaded a notification will appear at the bottom of the taskbar. Press Windows+R to launch “Run”, while run window opened type “D:” and press enter.
Step 4. After pressing enter a notification will pop-up. That is “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” therefore, click “Yes”.
Step 5. When the installation wizard launched click Next.
Step 6. In Setup type select “Typical” and press next.
Step 7. Now the VMware tool is ready to install on Windows 10 Guest OS PC, for that click “Install” to continue the installation process.
Step 8. Wait until the installation process should complete.
Step 9. While the installation completed click Finish.
Step 10. You must restart your system for the configuration changes made to VMware Tools to take effect. Click Yes to restart now or No if you plan manually restart later. In this case, if you want to bring changes on screen resolution click Yes to restart.
Step 11. Wait for the restarting of Windows 10 Guest OS.
Step 12. Once the Virtual machine restarted, then you will see the full-screen resolution of Windows 10 on VMware Workstation.
