Android 11 is the next major release after Android Q this year. It is the next big installment operating system of smartphones. Still, it is official version is under pending soon Android 11 “R” will kick out. Therefore, we have tested out some important works to figure out its new features. Android 11 “R” is consists of better features than last year’s OS of Android. Some interesting notable features requested added to Android 11. Usually, the official version will be out on 12-13 May 2020 in the Worldwide Google developer conference.
But I am really not sure about its confirm release date. All preview responsibility has given to the developer to check out the issues problem and internal design and features. I am not suggesting you download and install its preview mode. Currently, its full bugs and random problems that make it hard to make your phone destroy. Wait for a few days when its beta version should roll out for you. Again if you are getting to take out the full version then wait for a month. Actually, there are a few features added to Android 11 “R”. But most of the features are the possible old versions of Android.
The main changes are inside Dark Theme on Android 11. Easily turn your all internal light mode to dark mode. Most of the Apps software doesn’t have a dark mode. But again by enabling the dark mode of Android 11, it will cover all those Apps and turn their face to dark mode. An easy customizable dark mode of Android 11 enough interesting. For example, if you have a Pixel phone activate the dark mode in the sunset and deactivate at sunrise.

What is Android Studio?
Indeed when coming to the era of Virtual Machines like VMware Workstation, VirtualBox, Hyper-V, and Android Studio. Each of these Virtual machines performing separate tasks on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X. But Android Studio is confirmed by its name, only we can test an Android operating system on it. I remember from releasing an older version of Android OS, we tested out the preview mode or full version on Android Studio on Windows PC. So, Android Studio is the official integrated development environment for the Google operating system. And the following operating support Android Studio Windows, Linux, Mac OS X. Android studio with Java it can support Kotlin programming language too.
Google provides this professional testing tool for Windows, Linux, Mac OS X platforms. You can download the Android studio from its official site, where you can find SDK tools also. Before getting started to Android Studio be sure that you have the following hardware system.
What is the SDK Tool?
SDK tool is a helper tool for Android Studio provides you to download the update packages for Android OS. And the SDK tool provided in the Android SDK tools package is available in the Android SDK tool to download. Once you downloaded it extract it and its appropriate directory indicated on Android SDK location. SDK is used for “Software Development Kit” and its a collection of software development tools in one installable package.

- Microsoft Windows 7/8/8.1/10 (32 or 64 Bit), Kali Linux, or Mac OS X.
- 4GB of RAM or 8GB RAM recommended ( 1GB for Android Emulator). In my case, if you should have more RAM it can be better for its performance.
- At least 10GB of available disk space for the installation.
- The screen size should be 1280×800 (Recommended).

Install Android Studio on Windows 10 PC
Once you become sure that your system is compatible with Android Studio. Then go ahead and download its latest version and run on your PC. However, while downloading the Android Studio select the bit also. The installation method is pretty easy, but again I will guide you in the screenshot method.
Step 1. Navigate to Android Studio official site and click Download the Android Studio.

Step 2. While the file downloaded double click to open up the setup. On the welcome wizard click Next to continue the installation.

Step 3. Choose the features of Android Studio which you want to install then click Next. Manage the installation location or you can go by default and click Next.

Step 4. Here choose the start menu folder then click Install. Wait for the installation process it will take a while.

Step 5. Once the installation completed click Finish. Also, check the box of “Start Android Studio”.

Step 6. While opening the Android Studio choose the option “Do not import settings” and click OK.

Step 7. Allow Google to collect anonymous usage data for Android Studio and its related tools. Such as how you use features and resources, and how you configure plugins. This data helps improve Android Studio and is collected in accordance with Google Privacy Policy. Fora accepting the Google Privacy Policy click on “Send usage statistics to Google”.

Step 8. On the Andriod Studio, welcome wizard simply clicks Next.

Step 9. Now choose the type of setup you want for Android Studio then click Next.

Step 12. Click Finish to continue into the next step.

Step 13. Once you clicked Finish Android Studio will start downloading the necessary components such as SDK tools and others.

Install Android 11 “R” on Android Studio on Windows 10 PC
While the installation completed go-ahead and launch Android Studio. Once Android Studio opened, click on “Start a new Android Studio project”.

On the project option “Choose no Activity” then click Next.

Configure the project by Giving a name for the project, the package name, manage the location, Choose the language Kotlin and click Finish.

Now after clicking finish wait until the Kotlin plugin should download.

Once Kotlin downloaded and installed. Go ahead and click on the top bar on the Android option.
Now click on Create a new virtual device.

Choose a Hardware for Android, the recommended device fro Android 11 “R” is Pixel 2. Select Pixel 2 and Next.
Now here choose the system image, we need to download Android 11 “R”.

Now while it should download and install the component installer.

Downloading the components
Once the components downloaded automatically the Emulator settings window will pop up. There you have to set the maximum size of RAM that available on the hardware of your system. As the below screenshot the recommended is 2GB. Also, you can increase it up to 4GB or more than that. Once that is done simply click next.

Now, wait while it should install the Android 11 on Android Studio.

Now verify the configuration by giving AVD Name, also choose the startup orientation. As I prefer to continue with portrait mode when it’s done click Finish.

Now Android 11 “R” is ready on the virtual machine list. To test up on Windows PC simply click on the Play button.

That’s it Android 11 “R” has been successfully installed on Android Studio on Windows PC. As you see the beautiful screen view on Windows 10.

For a sample, I launched Google Chrome and open up my website on it. The function and performance of Android 11 “R” are super and perfect.
