As you know that Android Pie is the 9th current release of and the 16th version for mobile Android operating system. And the latest version of Android Pie was released for public on August/6/2018. Google is developing lots of software besides that this time Android P was announced by Google on March/7/2018. And the developer is released on the same that announced the latest version of Android Pie. Android Pie is available for Google Pixel devices and Essential phones. And the Sony Xperia was the first phone that Google pre-installed that. And Android Pie utilizes Google design, that now we can use the developer version on our Windows with the same function.

How to install Android Pie 9 on Android Studio on Windows 10

Before going to install the Android Pie 9 you need to download the requirements of it. without Android Studio you are not able to install Android Pie 9 on Windows. Firstly download Android Studio After that, the installation process is easy just follow the steps of installation.

Required Files:

• Download Android Studio
• Windows 7/8/10 (32-Bit or 64-Bit)
• 3 GB RAM
• 1 GB RAM for Emulator
• 2 GB Disk free Space
• 1.5 GB for Android SDK file
• 1280 x 800 Screen resolution

Step 1. When you have successfully download Android Studio, so go to download and double click to run the setup. After that, setup is started. Therefore,  on the welcome screen click on Next to go on.

Step 2. In this step Choose Components, choose which features of Android Studio you want to install on your computer. I will Check the Android Virtual Device and click Next.

Step 3. In here Configure the settings for Android Studio, select the installation location and click Next.

Step 4. In this step your installation will complete, the installation process will take at least 2 minutes. After that, you will face another screen that Android Studio has been installed on your computer. and if you want to Start Android Studio just mark that, and finally click Finish.

Setup Android Studio

Installing Android studio too much easy but setting up the setup for Android Studio is a bit complicated. in this case, you are required of high and speed internet connection. because it will go to download the requirements of Android Studio due to that it needs High internet connection, at least according to me it will download more than a 10GB file, And your Disk space must be 15 GB. Step 5. After that, you successfully installed the Android Studio you need to Open that just go to Menu and Right>Click and Run As Administrator. Therefore, the Android Studio will Launch on the Welcome Wizard, set up your development environment for Android Studio. Additionally, the wizard will help port existing Android Apps into Android Studio or create a new Android Application project, and click Next.

Step 6. In this step choose the type of setup, you want for Android Studio. Simply I recommend you to choose Standard, or if you don’t want you can continue with the Custom installation, finally click on Next.

Step 7. In this step select your theme, I will select the Light theme, and you can choose the Dark theme also, and click Next.

Step 8. In this step Verify the Settings for Android Studio, If you want to review or change any of your installations, click previous then if not click Finish. On the Downloading components, be aware that you need a high-speed internet connection. because your Android Studio will download the required components for Android Studio.

Create a New project on Android Studio

Once you download the complete components for Android Studio. therefore, you will be directed to the window of Android Studio. this step is only for the first that users are using Android Studio. After that, if you want to use Android Studio you can create a new project or you can import export the files.

Install Android Pie 9

Step 9. Once you are completely done with the downloading of the components, now it is time to create a new project for Android Pie 9. Or you can test Android Oreo, Android Nought, Android KitKat and any other version of Android, in this case, open the Android Studio As Administrator and while opened, and click on Start a new Android Studio Project.

Step 10. In this step Choose your Project Activity, it is optional you can choose any of them. As I have select Navigation Drawer Activity for Android Pie 9, and finally click on Next.

Step 11. In this step, you need to Configure your project for installing Android Pie 9 on Android Studio. Therefore, you need to choose the Name, Package Name, Save Location, Language, Minimum API level and click Finish.

Step 12. Wait for some minutes for the component installer to install the requested components for Android Studio. After that, you will be notified Done and click Finish.

Step 13. In this step click on AVD Manager for downloading Android Pie 9 on Android Studio.

Step 14. When the Virtual Machine Device (VMD) is open, simply click Create Virtual Device.

Step 15. In this step select a Hardware for your Android, I recommend you to select Nexus 5X. Remember that you will select the resolution for the Android, then click Next.

Download the Image file

Step 16. While you have selected the Hardware for Android Device. So in here, you should select an Android Image for Android, I am going to install Android Pie 9 so I will click on Download Android Pie 9.

Step 17. In this step of License Agreement ready carefully, and select Accept and click Next.

Step 18. After that, you selected the System Image and pressed the download button. therefore, you are going to download 870 MB file be patient and wait to download the Image file.

Step 19. After you successfully download the Image file. Therefore, select the Pie and click Next.

Step 20. In this step also you required for Configuration, the AVD Name if you do not agree with this settings you can bring changes on it, so if not simply click on Finish.

Step 21. In this step, if you want to run the Virtual Machine Device. Simply click on Play button and wait for a second that Android Studio runs the Android Pie 9.

Step 22. Finally, after some settings of the startup, you will face the screen of Android Pie 9 on the screen of your computer, on Windows 10.
