Create your Ubuntu Virtual Guest machine

For running Ubuntu first you should create your guest machine on VMware Workstation Box, follow the following steps. I am guiding you in the article. for that open, the File of VMware workstation Pro software you or you can download the software from it’s on site, have a glance to the below screenshot.

• Download VMware Workstation Pro 15

Step 1. When you open the wizard, choose the TYPICAL( Recommended) for configuration of machine click the Next.

Step 2. After that, you have selected the Typical option, for creating a new virtual machine on VMware workstation pro, after that you will select OS file, for that select I want to install letter. Then press Next.

Step 3. Next, you will select your operating system or the Linux Option. after that, the Ubuntu will be added automatically to your Virtual guest machine. then Next.

Step 4. For creating new Virtual machine type the select the location where you will install the Ubuntu, Next.

Step 5. Select the maximum size of your storage, then Next.

Step 6. Finally, the Virtual machine is created on VMware Workstation Pro 15, then click Finish.

After the Virtual machine is created at that time you can install the operating system or that is your choice.

Install Ubuntu On VMware Workstation Pro 15

you may like the Ubuntu operating system, get the Ubuntu Desktop ISO file. Ubuntu comes with two kinds of Version 32-Bit and 64-Bit, or however, you can install a newer version inside your PC or virtual machine. copy or download the ISO file into your computer for installation.

Now if you want to install select the machine that you created inside VMware workstation Pro 15 and there are more settings to be set in Virtual Machine. for example, space, ram, and storage or you will upload the ISO file for installation on VMware Workstation. select the Memory up-to 4-GB.

Next step what you will do, select the process setting than a number of cores per processor up-to 4.

Then select CD/DVD SATA device from the right side, then select the option of browsing the ISO file.

Then select the ISO file of Ubuntu 11.10 from your computer, or where it is located, be sure that you have selected the ISO file. then press Open.

Now you are done with all and everything created on Virtual machine guest which are created before for the purpose to install Ubuntu on it. then press the Play button to install the Ubuntu.

Installation process

When you are booting to Virtual machine, just follow the below screenshot, for selecting your language, after that you select the language click on the Install Ubuntu button to begin the installation. you could continue the process without any changing option, press the Install Ubuntu to continue…

During installation, you will see an option on the screen that preparing for install updates, download the updates during the installation it will save your times after installation you don’t need to install the updates when the installation is complete. to install the 3rd party software for Graphic and Wifi device.

selecting the option to download the updates during the installation,  it is optional whether you choose or not it will not create any problem in a time of installation. Mark tik to Download updates while installing, and install the third-party software. Press continue.

On the screen, while installation type,… the first option Erase disk and install Ubuntu the options will delete the files install the Ubuntu on it.

#Option 2. Something else will give you the Advanced option of Ubuntu for advanced users. or there will another option to choose the encryption of Ubuntu and you can use advanced option for use, press continue.

Select the space of Ubuntu installation

The next screen fills the blank type your name. your’s computer name, pick a user name, the password is optional it is according to your wish when entering to Ubuntu. the password will be required because like this the system will remain protected.

Completing the installation

for the completing installation. it will 7 up-to 10 minutes. It also depends on the speed of your computer as much your computer performance is good that much soon it will be install.

Ubuntu installation the last screen shows you that the installation complete, now you have to Restart your computer, after coming back up to Ubuntu you must update the Ubuntu operating system. If you are not checked the Update while installing Ubuntu. By updating the Ubuntu operating system the system will remain fresh.

Install VMware Tools Software

To install VMware tool software select the VMware Workstation application menu and click install the tool. This should mount a virtual machine box CD/DVD inside.
